The 1st edition of Electronics Home Argentina received more than 3000 visitors

The largest technology and business event in the country closed its 2018 edition with great success. In this framework, the organizers have already confirmed its second edition for August 5, 6 and 7, 2019.

Buenos Aires – August 2018 – More than 3,000 professionals from Argentina and Latin America attended this event where they could see the latest innovations and product launches that will be protagonists of the second half of the year and 2019. And the main media outlets in the country attended to cover it .

The first edition of Electronics Home took place from July 30 to August 1 at the Exhibition and Convention Center of the City of Buenos Aires – CEC. For the first time, an event occupied the entire premises of more than 6000m2, 130 stands with 300 brands from the categories: consumer electronics, household appliances, cell phones, household items and computing, among others, brands from the most prominent companies in the country and international.

“This edition exceeded our expectations, it was a success for the industry, commerce and all those buyers and visitors who had the opportunity to attend, generating new business. Both those specified in the exhibition and those that are expected to be finalized after the event,” stated Carlos Clur, President of Grupo Eletrolar. For the executive "this is a confirmation of the importance of having an event like this in the country, key to the development of the market and new opportunities to continue promoting the growth of the sector."

“The companies in the sector showed great support for our proposal, we completed 100% of the space sold and we also had strong institutional support, which confirms the need for an event of this magnitude in Argentina. That is why we have already confirmed the holding of its second edition in 2019, in which we hope to increase the number of attendees and increase the number of buyers sponsored by the event,” said Clur. In 2018, 150 purchasing executives and businessmen from the region were invited with tickets and accommodation by the event organization.

Electronics Home Congress, presented references that addressed topics such as the new profile of consumers in the digital era, the transformation that companies are going through and the opportunities that new technologies provide to do business and reach end users.

The consulting firm GFK reported the number of total sales in the local appliance market, which grew by 10% in the first semester of 2018, compared to the previous year, with SmartTVs being the protagonists of the semester. The Premium and Ultra Premium segments were the ones that grew the most in the year, adding 13 points of share in the total market.
