Electronics Home 2018 was officially presented

Electronics Home, an international event that links the industry and trade of consumer electronics, household appliances, mobile phones and computing, officially presented its 2018 edition, which will be held for the first time in Buenos Aires, from July 30 to July 1. August 2018 at the Exhibition Center of the City of Buenos Aires.

Electronics Home It will be the first B2B congress and expo of consumer electronic products, household appliances, cell phones, household items and computing in Argentina, in which more than 200 national and 100 international brands will be present.

The Eletrolar Argentina Group organizes this international event with the objective of presenting new technologies and products for the home, conducting business, strengthening ties with buyers throughout the country and the region, and having direct access to international brands.

Electronics Home It has the support and experience of the Eletrolar Brasil Group, which for 13 years has organized the largest international fair for the sector in Latin America. It will be exclusive for industry and commerce and will be closed to the general public. It will have a sponsorship program for tickets and accommodations to international buyers from South American countries, as well as nationals from other provinces, functioning as the most productive meeting point for opening opportunities.

Furthermore, within the framework of the event, the Electronics Home Congress, First congress on electronics, household appliances, cell phones, household items and IT that will feature the presence of prominent speakers. A panel of specialists will address the most important topics for the segment, including marketplaces and e-commerce, product trends, consumer behavior, lifestyles and tastes of millennials.

The objective of these conferences, workshops and debates is to contribute to the broader knowledge of the paths to follow by both manufacturers and retailers to attract different user and customer profiles.

Carlos Clur, President of the Eletrolar Group, stated: “In Brazil, some exhibitors concentrate 80% of their annual sales in four days of the Fair. We believe that the current market is mature to receive this type of initiatives that are so important when generating business. Argentina presents enormous opportunities for this type of meetings, with the purpose of expanding the market and bringing together all the actors in the sector in the same place. The objective is to be able to meet face to face, interact and be able to do business.”

Respecto a las tendencias de este año, Clur afirmó: “En este rubro, el producto estrella sigue siendo sin dudas el teléfono celular, y en un segundo lugar, el Smart TV. Todavía no apareció un producto que le quite el protagonismo al celular”.

Electronics Home cuenta con el apoyo institucional de la Federación Argentina de Comercio en Artefactos para el Hogar y Afines, cuya misión es agrupar a las empresas-comercios mercantiles minoristas dedicadas a la comercialización de artefactos y artículos para el hogar y productos afines, y difundir la actividad de sus asociados. La realización de la feria estará a cargo de Messe Frankfurt Argentina, la empresa líder en organización de exposiciones profesionales del mundo.
