The fourth edition of the event Electronics Home Argentina brought together the main actors in the country in the fields of appliances, household items, telephones, computers, furniture, mattresses and design.

More than 350 local and foreign brands gathered from July 10 to 12 at the Costa Salguero Center of the city of Buenos Aires, in this fair that integrates the entire sector and that included a cycle of conferences on the most relevant topics in the segment.

“We are very happy because the fourth edition of Electronics Home showed that this fair is, increasingly, a meeting point for the national industry. Every year we bring together more major merchants and more brands. It is a great showroom of products and launches,” said Carlos Clur, president of the Eletrolar Group.

In this fourth edition, new categories were presented and more than 1,500 products were exhibited. With a space of 5,000 square meters and more than 100 stands, the exhibition brought together the main brands and a specialized audience, which created a favorable environment for networking and the development of new businesses.

An event of integration and technological advancement

Eletrolar Group and Azul Play organized annually Electronics Home Argentina with the aim of presenting new technologies and products for the home, in addition to promoting new businesses and strengthening links between manufacturers, distributors and buyers.

This is an exclusive event for professionals in the sector and the corporate market that stands out for its international focus and its ability to integrate different industry players.

“To promote the networking, we invited more than 200 buyers from all over the country; People came from Misiones, Tierra del Fuego, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Cuyo area, among others. It is a truly federal event. What this meeting between industry and commerce allows is, precisely, to generate more and better businesses,” said Juan Cruz Martín Grondona, commercial director of Electronics Home.

Meanwhile, the series of conferences addressed different topics of interest to the sector. One of them was in charge of Storecloud, which presented the “Trends of e-commerce en la categoría Electrónica & Hogar”.

For its part, Hisense -known worldwide for its television products, home appliances and air conditioning equipment- analyzed the “Democratization of access to Technology”, while the market analysis consultancy GFK offered a dissertation on “Results and trends of the home appliance market in Argentina” .

“We developed the sectoral magazine Integración Empresaria that has united industry and commerce for 27 years. But today is the time of year when all the main players in this market meet face to face,” added Martín Grondona.

New categories in the 2024 edition

This year, important companies joined as sponsors of Electronics Home. Tiendanube Evolution stood out with his proposal of e-commerce designed to expand the online channel of medium and large companies. Meanwhile, Fiserv, a global payments and financial technology provider, and Ringo Advertising, a leader in the manufacture of products for visual communication, also supported the event.

Likewise, the fair introduced new features in its categories, which included appliances, TV and audio, cell phones, computing, gaming, household items, leisure and toys, personal care and health, mattresses and box springs, furniture and bazaar, lighting and mobility. This reflects the evolution and diversification of the market, as well as the need to adapt to current demands and trends.

An expanding fair

The accumulated experience of Grupo Eletrolar, organizers of events such as the Latin American Electronics International Trade Show and the Eletrolar Show in São Paulo, Brazil, provided significant support to Electronics Home.

“We will also be with Latin American Electronics, in Brazil, with 36,000 square meters of fair, the largest in the region. And next year we will do three straight weeks of fairs, which includes our first participation in Mexico,” said Carlos Clur.

“It also adds Latin American Electronics: a meeting point for industry and commerce, not only national but international. The idea of ​​holding events in the three main markets is to increasingly integrate the home goods sector,” the executive concluded.
